    Hiatal Hernia and surgery

Greetings Y'all: It's been awhile, but I am getting closer to my surgery date in March. I found out today I have a large hiatal hernia. Has anyone else been diagnosed with this and does it need to be fixed before revision surgery? I wonder if they can fix it during my revision surgery? hm-would love to hear any feedback. Thanks!

I have one and went through surgery without any issues. You'd have to ask your surgeon, but I'm guessing they would be against have both surgeries at the same time, because of the increased risk of infection.
