    Bmp

    Hi Tamena,

I was worried that my insurance co would decline the BMP also, but they covered it without question for both of my big surgeries. And I have an insurance co that tries to deny lots of things! The pre-auth/billing expert in your surgeon's office is good at getting all this worked out.

    Take care,

My insurance was great and I only paid $250 out of pocket, however, they denied coverage for BMP. Dr. Lenke had the hospital absorb the cost (which was a relief.)

Thanks guys! I freaked out when they called to inform that the insurance denied the coverage of the bmp, especially when the cost could be as much as $16, 000.
