    Lia's surgery

    Hello

    My daughter's surgery is starting now with doctor Asghar at Miami Children Hospital. Please keep us in you prayers.

    I PROMISE she will be fine! Dr Asghar is a phenomenal surgeon! Please update us on how it goes.

    By tomorrow she will be walking. By monday he will be basically back to normal if that helps ease your mind. Wait until Monday or Tuesday, clowns will come and visit her and will make you and Lia smile! This is a scary experience but trust me in the end it will be all worth it!

    The surgery last more than 8 hours. She is now at ICU with every vital sign ok.

    Good to hear. Let us know how she goes through recovery. This is such vital information for parents contemplating this surgery for their kids. Wishing you and Lia the very best for the coming days and weeks.

    Lia´s surgery

    Hi

    Lia is in day 2 pos op. Dr Asghar came this morning and told us she is doing well. She left ICU last night and continues with IV morphine, tylenol, and antibiotics.

    She will start walking tomorrow.

    Keep her in you prayers.
