My husband is on his way home!

I am excited, my doctor wrote a letter explaining the urgency for the surgery and the complications that may occur and that it would be best for him to here.

He may just make it or be on that day and I will awake to see his face.

He is strong and and is having one of our friends, one of the guys he served with prior and an amazing friend come here on his behalf - just in case. It is a 3 hour drive but he is doing it.

I am feeling much better on all the darn meds they gave me, lxi valium and ambien to sleep. I am not use to these at all and feel so out of it. I feel the pain its there doing its thing still.

Thank you for your support. I still will have questions and will be on here for search of those answers. If I cannot find in some other post, I will then ask.

    Your all so kind.

I am very happy for you too, Teresa! There is nothing like support of the family and it's wonderful that you have such a good friend.
I am stronger than scoliosis, and won't let it rule my life!

Awesome that he will be able to be with you! We retired from the Navy and spouses at home when the partner is deployed carry quite a load! If you have been in a lot of pain, you were probably carrying a lot of responsibility for your home, all alone.

Hope that all goes well for you!

Yes its wonderful and the fact that our Navy family will be there for us too is hear warming. I never realized the strong bonds till I was married into the military.

Thank you all but also your stories are inspiring and are helping me to be brave for this long surgery.
