I was also looking this over....

On the staple subject, I stumbled across this and Dr Diab is saying under 10. That’s young! You really have to keep an eye out for these kids.....just a visual back check, when in any doubt.....don’t hesitate a visit to the doctor!!!

Unfortunately, I know a good number of kids diagnosed before the age of 10. However, that is due to the sites I frequent (VBS, Cast/Infantile Site). Scoliosis in children that young is rare, which is why there only a handful of doctors who are true experts in JIS and/or IIS.

I, too, would be very interested in seeing a publication from the meeting in Istanbul, Pooka! We will have to see what we can do to get our hands on one

The programs are usually downloadable. If not, I can certainly copy a few abstracts. I think the sessions are only 3 or 5 minutes long, so there's never much meat.

Have these lectures been written up? If so, how do I access them? I opened the link, but it is just the brochure about the event. Thanks!

The program with abstracts will eventually be online, perhaps after the conference. But I was hoping it would be spun into a published paper.

Thank you. I will keep an eye out for the abstracts, it they are on point (my interest) then I will contact the author and request their write-up.
