    WHat happens if the fusion doesnt fuse? Do you have to have more surgery?

    Yes, if one of the fusion never solidifies, you will need additional surgery. Most people who have non-unions (pseudarthoroses) will eventually have one or more rods break.

      That looks like what happened in your "old" x-ray that you posted. It looked like the rod popped off of the screw at the top and broke at the bottom.

        You guys are so smart. Thats exactly what happened. I just hope this second surgery fuses. They added 14 more screws! I will try and attach the new one. I look like a irectoer set LOL
