    I hope this isn't considered totally off topic but I think it may explain why many if not most nerve injuries in surgery recover completely or at least partially.

    Of course the best hope for nerve injury apparently is embryonic stem cell research which was delayed 8 years because of moral turpitude. It has been back on track for the last several years.

      great story...

      i was watching "Must Love Cats" on Animal Planet this wkend...
      they had a story about cats in England....one was given titanium back paws after a bad accident...
      he walks fine now...
      another was given a metal hip....
      all done by an angel of a vet...
      so nice to see dogs and cats being saved and given new lives...

        Wow! Titanium paws....that’s my kind of cat. If he had Ti claws, the mousies would be extremely nervous.

        I wonder what’s next? German Shepard’s with Titanium teeth? The ultimate in security systems. LOL
