Sorry that you have a need to have those tests and certainly hope they are fine. The test prep isn't fun but I liked the nap part! Sure hope this new year starts out better for you. I'll be anxious to hear what you find out. Good luck. Janet

              • Well, it is appears that I am not having my tests tomorrow. I am not listed as a inpatient so I am scheduled to appear at 8am tomorrow AM. I do not have the prep to take today even if I wanted to do it as a out patient.

So this year is not starting out very well

                    • My hear sank when I read that you might not be able to have your test tomorrow. Glad to hear that everyone will work out (no pun intended, but you'll know what I mean).

Remember that if you need to drink the Mag Citrate, chill it and drink it holding your nose.

I wish you the best tomorrow and I hope that whatever is going on is some minor very fixable problem. No matter what the results are, you have a BIG team pulling for you.

Sending good thoughts your way....and wishes for a much better year!
                      Hugs, Susan

and can come up with a tx plan...

i do not know enuf to know if such are caused by stress or by
bacteria...i know bacteria can cause some ulcers...
if caused by stress, you have certainly had no shortage of that...

                              • No wonder you've been in pain. It depends on what kind of ulcer you have, but some are simply treated with antibiotics. I know someone who had an ulcer all his adult life and was hospitalised twice with severe bleeding, had a tube down his nose draining it etc. Then they discovered a bacteria causes it and he took the antibiotic and he's never had a problem since. Fingers crossed that's all it takes.
