  • Thanks Jennifer

Tomorrow I am having the spinal cord stimulator trial. If you pray, please do so that the trial will take away over 50% of my pain.

I will let you know how it goes when I get home tomorrow night.

        • Well what is the story of my life? The doctor could not do it. She tried and tried but could not get through the last two levels. Between the scar tissue the bmp,and the screws they could not get the leads placed where they needed to be placed.

So the next step is to have it done in the operating room with a surgeon either a neuro or a ortho. Dr Bederman would have been the first choice but he is in Texas. .

My pain doctor is going to call him and see who he suggests.

So this is on hold for the next several weeks.

          Thanks for the support

Oh boy....well, they will get it figured out....

You have to remember that we get in there and some of these non scoli docs look at our stuff, and well, take that deep breath....

And in talking about looking at our stuff, here is some entertainment for tonight. It’s a group of radiologists “taking a selfie”

            Its funny stuff....LOL

              • So sorry, Melissa -- I'm sure it seemed like the hair on the camel's back in terms of frustration. I'm glad Ed was here to see your post and provide a little humor as well. Radiologists taking selfies! Hang in there. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

I made up my mind that I would keep looking for the answer if the University doctor couldn't help. We scoliosis people have strength

If I went to TX, I would have to find a pain management doctor to coordinate the entire procedure.

                        • This morning I fell out of bed and landed on the metal step stool that I use to get in and out of bed. My ribs hurt so much.
