I just went to Melissa's facebook page and I see that she has posted recently this October. I sent her a private message that she needs to let us know how she is doing. I hope it works.

I hope this doesn't violate HIPAA, but I contacted Dr. Bederman. As far as he knows, she's OK. The last he heard, she had some problems with the hip replacement, so it sounds like it may have been awhile since he's seen or heard from her.

    I have heard

I have heard that Melissa is recovering from recent hip surgery and appreciates your concern. She is just not able to post on the forum at this time.

Her hip surgery was six days ago. I know she would appreciate your continued prayers. Just letting you all know she is alive and well and recovering from surgery. We can all breathe a sigh of relief now. I don't know any other details.

Thanks Susie Bee! I guess she must have had the other side done. Fingers crossed this recovery goes well and she's starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
