    great to hear you finished rehab...
    i hope you can continue to make progress at home...
    and i hope you will have someone to help you in the beginning...
    have you talked to a social worker for discharge planning...?

      It is good to hear that you are doing so well. I am sure your recovery will be smoother than the last time. I hope you get things worked out at home so that you get all of the help you will need.

        I hope your transition to home will go smoothly. I'm so happy your surgery went well. It sounds like you have the worst behind now as far as the surgery. Best wishes to you.

          Yes the discharge planner is aware that I have no help at home. She is looking into what options I have.

            Wishing you all the very best on your discharge Melissa. I am hoping Rehab will ensure you have every help that you need. Looking forward to your updates!
            Surgery March 3, 2009 at almost 58, now 63.
            Dr. Askin, Brisbane, Australia
            T4-Pelvis, Posterior only
            Osteotomies and Laminectomies
            Was 68 degrees, now 22 and pain free

              Thank you everyone. I am getting excited about leaving rehab but nervous as well. Nervous about my husband but also nervous about being at home without the rehab support.
