I'm new to the forum, and am wondering whether anyone has feedback regarding Dr. William Donaldson in Pittsburgh. I was diagnosed with scoliosis when I was about 14, and was borderline for surgery then, things seemed to hold steady with bracing. Anyway, I'm now 29 and finally have decent enough insurance to get my back checked. I saw Dr. Donaldson a month or so ago, and really liked him off the bat. However, my back has likely gotten worse -- he's checking me again in September to try and get a handle on how things are progressing -- and I just have this pit-of-the-stomach feeling that surgery will be necessary. So, I'd be very glad for any input and guidance that you all might have.

Thanks so much!
