    still in pain

I had my surgery 6 mths ago. Fused from T4 to L1. Before suregery I had pain standing and sitting. Now my pain is worse. No body knows why. Intercourse makes stiff from my neck down to my toes. Any insights.

I am at the six month point also. The pain is gone from before but I still have recovery pain that I hope will go away in time. I have numbness in my back, one butt cheek and thigh. Some times when tired I tend to lean forward. My hopes are that this pain will resolve within the next six months when muscles and nerves heal. And yes sex leaves me sore for a few days.

Im just over 6 months and I still have pain.
Its different pain to what I had pre-op although if ive been on my feet too long it feels worse but im hoping it will improve.

Im due to start some physio therapy so im hoping that will help with the muscle stiffness I have as I think thats whats causing most of my pain.

Im still totally numb in the centre of my back and partially numb at the back of my right hip.

PT is a good thing.....I like the arm bikes for re-building the paraspinalís in the thoracic. Start slow and work up.
