  • Question for after surgery

My daughter will be fused from the T5-L3 region, although when you look at her, her neck is not center. Will the correction in her spine from the surgery help this or will it stay like that? It's not a big deal to me but I am just curious.

The surgeon will try to balance her with her head over her pelvis as far as I understand this game. This is either hard to do or easy to do depending on the curve type, location and things like that.

Don't be upset if it doesn't look balanced even several months post-op. It may need that long to settle as in the cases of both my kids. One had a high left shoulder that eventually came down and the other had a torso lean that resolved 95% but both took several weeks to hit the final balance. They both had T curves but different types of T curves which I gather accounts or this type of thing.

    Good luck.

Question: What do you call alternative medicine that works?
