    Wow excellent progress!

It really has been like we were wandering aimlessly, being randomly pelted and ricocheting this way and that while you were gone. We have been like little pieces of foam pushed and blown aimlessly about the interwebs, like crazy pinballs in a dark, unforgiving game in your absence...

I know what you mean about the meds being ineffective. They are overrated, but we do need them....

                    Hi Laurie...

I'm still having a lot of leg pain. I just talked to Dr. Berven, and he's suggesting I start aquatic therapy, which sounds fabulous, so I'm going to start ASAP. My legs are swollen to about twice their size, which I'm sure is contributing to the problem.

                    Thanks for asking.

I hope the aqua therapy helps - I didn't know you could go in a pool this soon post-op.
I have the leg thing, too. . .I used to have such nice little ankles. . .now. . .ugh!

Day and nights if (and only if?) Linda Racine? That sounds very metaphysical. (smiley face)

Why are your legs swollen? Mine did that too, and I was told that it's caused by all the blood I was given. And that it is so much part water or something, and it causes water retention. Anyway, they gave me water pills. I took one and that pretty much took care of the swelling. I just did what they told me. Good Luck Linda.
