How much does the hardware (rods and screws) weigh? I have 28 screws and two rods. Anyone been given this info from your doctor?

I calculated 17ounces for my set-up in a prior post here....I have 33 screws and large anchor bolts in my pelvis. Ti and 316 are pretty close to one another as far as weight is concerned.

Its not much. You can lose 2-3# in water loss by sitting in a hot tub for 20 minutes, or gain twice as much in a good Italian restaurant in the same amount of time. If I roll off the chair and hit the floor, I would say that’s proof! It happens. lol

I asked my surgeon (hoping to be able to subtract something at Weight Watchers) and he said it was hardly anything...
