    I already have!

    Itís a jigging or positioning system. A valuable tool for locating and positioning screws through a portal.

    Screw placement varies on every level, and on every case. Very good idea! A safe idea.

    I've been told that the reason why my son has waited for fifteen months to see a spine specialist in BC is b/c they are waiting for the robot to be set up in Vancouver, lol.
    Son 14 y/o diagnosed January 20th. 2011 with 110* Curve
    Halo Traction & 1st. surgery on March 22nd. 2011
    Spinal Fusion on April 19th. 2011

    Thatís a nice try for an excuse....I guess everyone up there is on hold now because of this?

    This equipment is the next step. A very small step, but itís a step forward....a valuable tool, to help solve just a fraction of the many parameters required in a scoliosis surgery. They say 1mm placement accuracy, and I can see that now thinking about this system. It would be nice if they can improve on that some....

    very interesting. Did it say it work on scoliosis surgery? Do you guys know any doctors are using it for scoliosis surgery?

    Yes, the article specifically states that it's used mostly for scoliosis surgery. One of the inventors is Isadore Lieberman, who is a spinal deformity surgeon.
