I have surgery set up for December 6. They will be going from the L4 to about the T2 of my back. Hope that will fix me up for awhile. Tired of surgeries.

Good luck Lee. I hope so too! Please let us know how you go. Hang in there, this lead up time is the worst. Soon, all you'll have to do is eat, sleep and walk!

          Update on surgery

          Hi,

I'm Justin's wife. He had surgery today and the surgeon said he did really well. He was in quite a bit of pain when I left the hospital. Dr. says he will be in the hospital for about 3 to 5 days.

Hi Loretta, thanks for letting us know! I hope Lee got a great result and has a smooth recovery. Sounds like he's due for some good luck. We would love to get some updates as he recovers. We have a few members having surgery around now, perhaps they can all be a support to each other.

For those on the other side of surgery what is the best kind of pillow to use? It is safe to use a contour or will that mess with spinal alignment?

Hi Lee, you will feel weak and tire easily for a couple of weeks but then you will start to notice improvements. But it sounds like you've been this way before with your surgeries. Take care!
