  • An offer to Clear

Cards on the table. I am posting this here because I are (also I AM) withdrawing from Fix's site, perhaps ahead of getting kicked off.

I don't know where your 140 patient study stands in terms of publication and I know zip about PT. But I can crunch data and present it in a convincing and honest manner.

I am offering to help you with that manuscript any way I can.

I am offering this on behalf of the parents who are using your treatment. They want to see evidence. Maybe I can't help because this is so not my field. But I am offering.

I know. I am tough on them because they are dealing with desperate parents who don't know what the hell to do. Those guys should feel an obligation to gather evidence if only for the sake of the parents who want to know they are helping their children not to mention not wasting time and money. That aspect is completely missing from some of those guys.

And they should want to gather evidence if only to hone what they are doing and figure out what is and is not working. I just don't get them.

They could choose to be rigorously evidence-based and be open with parents about trying reasonable therapies. They could.

There is nothing out there as strong as a parent's need to protect their child. I know nothing about CLEAR but if I were pursuing this treatment for my child, you're damn right I'd want it evidence based before I poured out my Canadian Looneys on any treatment.
