Well everyone, I had my lengthy preop appt yesterday and everything is A GO for my surgery this Friday. I'm so very anxious but ready. I feel very confident in my surgeon and everyone else I met. My husband and I also checked out the hospital and we were very impressed. Also learned that UC Davis was just voted in the top 50 U.S. hospitals in orthopedics. All these things help to ease my anxiety a bit. Plus found out that I'm now developing a lumbar curve...so that is helping me too that I'm making the right decision to do this now and not put it off.

Thanks to all who have shared their experiences and knowledge here. I learned so much which helped me ask the right questions.

And T-Ed, I haven't forgotten the foam! We bought a memory foam mattress topper and it feels great already!

I will be "seeing" you all on the other side.
