    computer/posting question

    Dear friends,
I just have a question regarding posting on the forum.

I'm fairly new and wondering how you can add a signature line to your post? In other words, how to add the biographical information that one wants to include after your name?

    Best,
    Brenda

    Hi Brenda
    Welcome to the forum!
I'm not the best person to be giving computer instructions but I'm pretty sure you go to > User CP (top site task bar) > Your Control Panel (right hand column) > Settings & Options > Edit Signature.

You can type in the information that you want others to see at the bottom of each post.

We look forward to getting to know you!

    Brenda -
Apparently I'm NOT the best person to be giving advice, since there IS NO Your Control Panel on the right hand side....! It's the left side!

In my defense, by the time I posted that message I was at the end of 11 hours of online genealogy searching and I felt like a blithering idiot!

I'm sure you figured it out but didn't want you and everyone else to think I had completely lost my marbles!
