    Lynette....I have to chime in too, because we were going through this together! Can you even believe we did it?!?! We we made the major decision, we faced it head on and it is now part of our history. You never know what you are made of until you go through something like this. Now we know what we are made of.....STEEL!!! Congrats and lets continue to get better and better each day!

      Surgery 3/14/12 with Dr. Lenke in St. Louis, T4 to S1 with pelvic fixation
      Broken rods 12/1/19; scheduled for revision fusion L1-L3-4 with Dr. Lenke 2/4/2020
      Not "confused" anymore, but don't know how to change my username.

        Yes - WE ARE WOMEN OF STEEL! LOL!!!
        Lynette - 44 years old.

        Pre-surgery thoracic 55 degrees
        Pre-surgery lumbar 85 degrees

        Post-surgery thoracic 19 degrees
        Post-surgery lumbar 27 degrees

        Surgery April 1st 2010.

        Posterior spinal fusion from T9 to sacrum.
        Dr. Cronen at University Community Hospital - Tampa, FL.

          We may be women of steel, but not enough to set of metal detectors, as I found on a recent trip to Forida!

          But if we are the Steel Magnolias, I call Olympia Dukakis, she cracks me up.
