I just noticed that you had commented on my post regarding my surgery in Buffalo back in February. You had mentioned that you looked into my surgeon, Dr. Hamill- and I want to tell you that he is an AMAZING surgeon. You will not be disappointed if you go to him. I will be honest though, he is very arrogant, but he has every reason to be- he has saved many lives.

My recovery has been bumpy, but I am finally not feeling such harsh pain. Unfortunately, I will be permanently out of work from here on out due to a muscle condition that has been causing all of these problems.

Anyways, just wanted to encourage you to contact Dr. Hamill if you have any need for a spinal orthopedic. He's sensational, and completely changed my life!

    Thank you!

    PinkPineapple,
Thank you so much for posting this! I am at this time waiting for my appointment (in late July) with a Neurologist/Neurosurgeon in Rochester. After that, I will need to figure out the next step. I was REALLY surprised when the moderator here Linda Racine said that Dr. Rubery (who blew off your situation, I believe) was a revision specialist who spent some time training in the clinic where she works. He was not helpful to me at all, so I currently believe that I would rather see Hamill, though I would need to work out the out-of-area insurance piece. I am very grateful to know that you feel he changed your life.
