            Lynette,
I love Dr Cronen. He is great. I think he has listened to me more than any DR in the past has. The date is "tennative" beacause he is in the process of moving his cases to TGH and I am actually his first one scheduled there. His scheduler was not sure if he wanted his first case there to be a long one, so he may choose to do it at St Joes because he is keeping privilidges there. Although, she thinks he may actually start at TGH sometime in May so it is possible I would not actually be his first case there. Anyway, I hope to find out today. I am not patient and cannot stand the suspense! If I can't have it June 7th at all I will have to wait till mid July because all the young people are getting their surgeries. Wish me luck! Thank you all for your support.

Best wishes Janet. Hopefully they won't change the date. Go easy on yourself and don't think that you have to run around too much getting things in order. Eat, sleep and excercise to get yourself in the best shape for this surgery and you should do well.

PS. In your line of work, the last line of this post must sound silly coming from me!

Janet - I'm so happy you liked Dr. Cronen too. I'm thrilled with him, anytime I have a question or worry, he calls me instantly and spends time on the phone helping me figure out the problem that I may be having. He has a great dry sense of humor too. Right before surgery, he and I and my friend Paula were having some giggles - which is a good time to laugh right before surgery
I wish you luck with keeping your June 7th date - I'm sure it will be kept for you. Let us know everything along your journey - and I'm here for you just like everyone else on this forum if you need any questions answered

I heard from the office today. The surgery will deffinately be the 10th or 11th of June at TGH. The great news is that Dr Cronen AND Dr. Moreno will be doing it together!!! I am so excited that if I could do cartwheels I would! I know I'll be in the hands of the BEST scoliosis doc's in the Tampa Bay area. Thanks again so much for helping me find the right Dr.!

Hey, I don't know how I got so lucky. I am just glad I did! I have put this off for 20 years for many reasons, especially fear. Now I am actually looking foward to this opportunity, nothing will hold me back. I feel like the planets aligned and it's meant to be, no matter how corny that sounds. I think what Dr Cronen told me at the office is that at TGH he has to work with another surgeon. I just didn't realize it would be Dr. Moreno! So I am very happy.
