Excellent points Pooka, and no I am not contemplating surgery at this time.

It is encouraging to see so many who have posted good results with surgery and I imagine the neg side effects are few.

We are still trying several different modes along w bracing.

And hopefully one or the combination will work. Anyway, at ~25/25 in a 12 (or 13?) y.o., some large(?) percentage of those curves are not expected to reach surgery territory as far as I know.

The person who finds an effective conservative treatment that avoids surgery for all patients (or most patients) will deserve the Nobel in my opinion.

    Good luck.
