  • Car Accident 😳

In April I will have two years since fusion T3-sacrum. It's been great, pretty uneventful recovery, got a lot of flexibility back, not really very restricted compared to if I didn't have the surgery. I'm so happy I did it. That being said, last Thursday a young driver ran a red light, smashed into my passenger side going pretty fast, and my Jeep Wrangler flipped. Jeeps are made for this, my seatbelt clenched me in tight, and the Jeep righted itself after rolling. My greatest fear of course was rod breakage. Nope! Broke a bunch of ribs on the console, cuts and bruises, but my fusion and hardware is intact. Moral of the story? Buy a Jeep.

Cathy, Glad to see your ok from this accident, it’s not really what surgeons had in mind for testing out fusion integrity....

Its nice to have a positive report on your scoliosis surgery....

Flexibility, or lack of, is something that everybody doubts, but if there is anyone who believes you, its me.

    You have done well
