  • Wearing earrings today- 1st time since surgery

I was able to wear earrings today for the first time since July 18th when I had my surgery. I was able to lift my arms up high enough and hold them there long enough so I could put the earrings in and close them as well. I know it is a little thing but little things can make me happy now.

Now to be able to get them out tonight. I think that I will do it now before I get too tired

        Melissa,
Anything that we can do one day that was not possible previously is a victory. You sound like a different person than last year. I'm so happy for you that you have an excellent surgeon who will give you a quality of life again.

Thanks I really do feel like a different person. Physically I am doing so much better than I was a year ago. Emotionally, I am not doing great however

Wearing earrings - take one victory at a time.

You've had good advice about the rash. Has the rash improved at all?

            Good luck!!
