Ok im new to the forum, my doctor said this scoliosis is "mild" and also "common"...

I was going to join the army but coudnt doctor medical picked up. So i got X-Ray done, and after specialist said wot i already new but my doctor refused to show me my own X-ray in the X-ray room they refused ...

So i went to hospital where they gave me stretches to do, then i got a physiotherapist who said
" ok dont do any of those exercises they say at hospital !!"
so im struck on what stretches are good and which arent !!

Its also important because my job involve involves lifting things, infact my job is lifting things.

Exercises

I find if i use my arms to support my body and dangle my legs it puts gravity on my back to straighen it.

Also i find my shoulders (specialy between my shoulder blades get achey so i reach with both arms backwards and stretcha s far as possilbe)

Also i try adn strengthen my back by getting a cushion and doing situps and reverse (lay on tummy and lift your head back with hands)

my physiotherapist said to puch my lower back where it hurts but it hurts more and i actually get more pain doing it.

Im also curious about sleeping on a hard floor to help stabilise my back

Need your feedback guys...

so im guessing u guys dont actually stretch ?? i saw my doctor this week and she says my x ray says my backs fine, even after 3 other ppl say its scoliosis. I dunno says "X-ray lumbar normal"
But still hurts especially when i lift 50kg boxes....

are there any specialists here ?

i do streaches and stuff my chiropractor has me do to help me strengthen my back. i dont think streaching will be bad unless the docs over there are complete wacos hehe

punching your low back when it hurts? wow i never heard that one before and i dont see how it would help hehe i use a exercise ball with my streaches to help support me. also i have been told streagthening your abs will help in supporting your back
