Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and I need some feedback. My 14 year old daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis 2 years ago and is now at the point of needing surgery. She was "wait and see" for 2 years until her last growth spurt threw her lower curve to 51 degrees, her top curve is at 40. so I would like to know positive/negative experiences with either/both Dr. Flynn and/or CHOP. We met with Dr. Flynn last week and we both felt very comfortable with him. But as with any parent of a child facing such a serious decision I want to be sure Dr. flynn is the right choice before I decide to let him perform the surgery or even have it at CHOP. Any and all feedback will be welcome and much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
LJ

Hi Concernedmom1,
I have a friend whose daughter had surgery with Dr. Flynn about a year ago. I don't think she comes on here very often, but I will e-mail her and ask her to reply to you.
(In case you're wondering, she absolutely loved him).
