Hello everyone,

I am very interested in seeing any preop and postop photos of those of you who had a hump deformity. I have seen some photos here but it seems that no one had a hump deformity? I have a pretty pronounced hump deformity and I know that surgery won't completely correct it, but I am hopeful that it will not be as pronounced afterwards. (I am so self-conscious of it...but that's a whole different discussion. :( I would love to see if anyone saw any improvement cosmetically.

Also, I am seeing a specialist next week for a 2nd opinion. I am making a list of questions for him. If anyone has any ideas of what I should ask him, I would greatly appreciate it! :)

Hi Lray,

I didn't take any pics. I think I didn't want evidence of how scrunched up I was. But let me tell you, my right shoulder hump is MUCH MUCH smaller than it was. My upper curve was corrected from 66 to 34, and I can see a big difference.

I can show you mine, but unless they're side-on, it's difficult to see the hump. Mine are taken back-on. At first, I couldn't show the "before" pic because it looked so awful, though in clothes I'd managed to hide it mostly and I had pretended it wasn't there.

Anyway, here are my pics. My curve was to the left. Before:

I should add, my surgeon said he could improve my hump by 60% but it is all but gone. It isn't visible at all, but when I run my hands over both sides, I can feel the very slightest of rises on my left side. I'd say he corrected it by 95% and I'm very happy about that.
