  • Surgery Tomorrow

Well, surgery is tomorrow. I have to be at the hospital at 8am (at least it's not at O-dark thirty!), so I'm sure you all know without being told that I won't be posting for a couple of weeks. Wasn't nervous until now but I also can't wait to get past tomorrow and on to feeling better. Thanks again everyone, for all the encouragement. Talk to you soon!

We'll be thinking of you Debbie. I thought the last day would be difficult, but I think many of us come to the realisation that it's only a matter of 24 hours and a sleep and we'll be on our way to recovery.

Hope you get the best result and a smooth recovery!
    Surgery March 3, 2009 at almost 58, now 63.
    Dr. Askin, Brisbane, Australia
    T4-Pelvis, Posterior only
    Osteotomies and Laminectomies
Was 68 degrees, now 22 and pain free

Best of luck. We will look forward to hearing how it went when you can communicate with us - which won't be too long. I just looked at it like diving off a high dive. Scary but exciting and it's just water I was jumping into. Hope that analogy didn't scare you more if you're not a swimmer!
