  • Post surgery degree changes

    Hello all,
I had a question about changes in degrees after
surgery. I am now 7weeks post surgery and my degree was
was corrected from 56degrees to 7degrees though I still have a
significant hump at least to me I do. My surgeon at my 6 week post
op says that the ribs tend to lag behind in being corrected and which is causing the remaining hump but will correct itself on it's own in a few months.
In my current x rays my spine looks completely straight but I still have a slight hump. Has anyone been told anything similar from their
    surgeon? Thanks so much!

I'll be interested in replies to this too. I'm 3 months and as my swelling has gone down I notice my hump more on the right and the depressed area on the left. It honestly didn't seem too bad right after surgery. Janet
