    Was 68 degrees, now 22 and pain free

        God I remember those early days so well. The first walk ugh! My pt person didn't put one of those belts around me to help me walk...what a nice idea. I was all on my own...walker with me of course. Looks like you did a great job and had great results! Good luck with your continuing recovery:O)

        Diagnosed at 10, Boston brace from 11-13 yrs old.
        50* Lumbar w/ 5 centimeter shift to the left and slight rib hump...
        Surgery Date: April 15 and April 22, 2009
        X-LIF approach for disc repair L5,L4,L3,L2
        Posterior Approach for fusions L5-T5

          I actually start to hyperventilate a little when I look at post-op pictures -- reminds me of stuff I don't want to remember..LOL

            Haha! It has that effect on me too, but I find I am gruesomely, morbidly fascinated! Ah, the memories.

              Wow! Your scar is healing VERY nicely!

              Your pics also brings back a lot of memories. Not all fun ones, but I survived.
              Surgeries July 26th & August 3rd 1983 (12 years old)
              Still have 57 degree curve
              2 Harrington rods
              Luque method used
