      Wow Summer! You look amazing!

Can I ask what led you to do the surgery? I think i have a similar curve and have been debating looking into surgery.

Hi summer, You really had some transformation! Just looking at your before and after shows how the clothes we wore before won't fit anymore like we were speaking of in another thread. Hope you are feeling well also.

Summer, You look great! My fusion's a little longer than yours, but your pics look just like mine, hump on the left, big indent on the right. My afters aren't quite there yet, still have the steri-strips on and some scabbies. Like you, it's great to see symmetry and a waist again.

BTW, my youngest sweetest daughter is named Summer. Great name!

                            Jen,

I didn't have the same type of curve that you did, but looks like you had the gangster lean like I did lol. Mine was definitely worse that what yours showed. I had a 50* lumbar curve with a 5 centimter shift to the left. Doesn't seem like a lot but man it certainly looked like more. I always tried to keep everything pulled together when around others but when by myself I would relax and it just amazed me that I could lean so much. Many people would say, you don't look like you have scoliosis that bad. I just knew how to hide it well I guess.....always leaned on one hip or put a foot up to rest on something if I could.

I was at a hockey game for my some 2 weeks ago and stood through 2 periods because I wasn't sure I could sit on bleachers for 2 long. I realized that I started to stand the old way. Guess my brain is still trying to learn my new stance. I can tell you though that I hurt so bad for the rest of the day from leaning wrong. won't do that again! Great pics, glad you had such success!
