ok, had a strange experience this morning....got sick from eating breakfast and had to throw up and of course couldn't bend down or over and couldn't throw up (I know this is gross...sorry) It just sort of got stuck. Not a good feeling. Man oh man will I be sooo happy to get rid of the $%#$%#$% brace! I absolutely hate hate hate it! took some phenergan and it settled my stomach and went back to sleep. I have been asked if I am happy I had this surgery and I guess I will truly be able to answer this question when and if I get back to my old self and all my activites and no pain......

        Susan,

at about 6 weeks post-op, (the very day my parents left for home) I caught some bug and was vomiting. OMG it was horrible. I'm not a good puker to begin with, but with rods up the spine and not totally healed, I thought I would DIE! I sure wanted my Mommy to be back at my house! LOL I got through it but I wasn't a happy camper.

I hope your stomach stays settled.
