  • One year on Thursday

Hi everyone thought I would post again as I am nearly one year post op
I still get pains and sometimes they are bad, but better then I was before the op, I havent got a check up until 29th July though so a while to go until I know that everything is still ok.

I am doing more and more at work, aswell and I dont get as much pain as I have had, and I also don't get the hip pain anymore where I would wake up and not be able to move for a while.
Still on the meds sometimes though for when the pain is really bad. I was doing really well until a week or so back when I was knocked (quite hard) in the back which I think is what the pain is due to, so im hoping once it has gone again, that I will be better again.

Thanks for all the support I have had from this site it has helped a lot.

Op went well 20ish degree curve now.
May need op in 18 months to remove rods due to pain, but might calm down when bone graft has healed, less pain now, just some shoulder blade pain, and a cold spot in middle right of back.
