  • The big day is here!

    Well folks the big day is finally here and surprisingly I have found calm in the storm lol! I slept good last night just not nearly long enough. Can't wait to chat with you all again. I should be home by Friday fromt he first leg of this journey and than back in again on the 22nd. Be taller soon, yaaa!

    Diagnosed at 10, Boston brace from 11-13 yrs old.
    50* Lumbar w/ 5 centimeter shift to the left and slight rib hump...
    Surgery Date: April 15 and April 22, 2009
    X-LIF approach for disc repair L5,L4,L3,L2
    Posterior Approach for fusions L5-T5
    Dr. Fox @ Naval Medical Center Portsmouth
    Nice and straight now!!!!!

      Susan, you'll be in my prayers also, and thanks for mentioning that sense of calm you are experiencing, as I hope I will feel this way when my date comes. Looking forward to hearing that you are done and on the road to feeling stronger and stronger!

        I'm sure you are out of you first surgery by now and I hope, resting peacefully.
        I'm so glad you were able to sleep the night before surgery! I'm nearly 3 months away from my surgery and already getting nervous.

        Looking forward to hearing from you in a few days.
