  • Dr John Braun

Has anyone heard of or been to Dr John Braun. He practices in Vermont. I would love ANY input. Thinking of surgery, age 37 for progressive kyphoscoliosis with double major curves. THANK YOU.

Dr. Braun used to practice in Salt Lake City. He does pediatrics and adult scoliosis. If he's on the SRS list, that means much of his practice is scoliosis related. I don't have any personal experience with him.

There are many adult scoliosis docs in the country. If traveling for the "best" care (subjective, I know) is important, you may want to consider finding a doc in an area where you have family or other non-medical support. You'll likely need it, as much as you need an excellent, well-experienced surgeon.

    Good luck.
