First of all, I want to say hello, because I am new to this forum.
I come here occasionally and read posts but I have not signed up until now.
Secondly, I want to know if anyone has any recommendations for spine specialists/surgeons in the Northern NJ or even NYC area. (besides Dr. Boachie, I simply can not afford him unfortunately.)
I live in Morris County, NJ - but any recommendations throughout North Jersey, NYC, or even Central Jersey would be apreciated.
Also, in regards to my scoliosis. I am 22 years old. I have not been to a spine specialist in about two years. When I last went my spine was 51 degree's. (it has progressed without a doubt, since then) I decided to wait a little bit so I could finish school, but school is ending soon and thus, so will my health insurance (although I know it does not help much in this area it seems).
As a result, the time for me to get this thing done is pretty soon. Although my curve is pretty high, luckily I don't have chronic pain or anything. The only time my back aches is when I stand for 4 + hours.
