  • weak legs

Hi everyone, I am noticing that my legs, or more specifically my calf muscles are really struggling every time I use the stairs. I get to the top of a flight of stairs and I have to rest from exhaustion. I seem to remember this from before my 3 level fusion and that it went away and I hope that it is back driven rather than something far more terrible. Anyone else still have it or had it before their surgery and now its gone or at least know what I am talking about???
    thanks all.

    Avis,

Are you doing any kind of PT or exercise?

    Regards,

        Just a suggestion, Avis ...

Talk to your doctor and see if PT/exercise is okay. You could very well just be experiencing loss of muscle tone. If you're not in shape, a flight of stairs will incapacitate you ... as many here can attest.

It may not be anything more than you need to work on your calf - and leg - muscles.

        Regards,
        Pam
