  • Rib pain anyone?

My surgery was Dec '06 and I've been doing great-until about 3 months ago when I "overdid" it and had alot of muscle pain in my shoulder blade area. It's fine during the day, but at night I have pain and can't sleep past 3 am or so. I've noticed it's not just muscle pain, but rib pain. There is a "spot" under my left shoulder blade that aches. Not excruciating, but aggravating. Why would I have rib pain now? Anyone else experienced rib pain starting a year or 2 after surgery? Thanks everyone!!

    Hi Cathie,

I'm sorry you're having pain now. Did this start before you saw Dr. B? I'm just thinking 3 months is prior to when I saw you up here. So if that's the case, what did he say about it?

I hope this strange pain goes away as mysteriously as it appeared.

      Hi Debbie,
Yes it started hurting about a week after I saw him in June-wish it had started before so I could have asked him about it! I'm sure it is temporary-but in the meantime sleeping is a problem. I've been thinking of you as your surgery date gets closer! Keep in touch Debbie!
