  • Small reminder of what is most important

    Greetings!

Today I was supposed to see the Spine Specialist and make some major decision about my care.
Then my daughter reminded me just what is most important.

I woke up, opened up the kitchen and got all breakfeast prepped. But noticed my lazy little bumblebees were still in bed. No problem... Just set food out, work them up on my way to shower saying "Get up and eat breakfeast ladies! Common up up up!"

I hop in the shower, shampooed, put conditioner in when my littlest bumblebee says " mommy my tummy hurt" and proceeds to vomit pink!

Rushed out of shower, scooped up the pink , put it in bagg, called 911

We get her to the hospital, where she has every fire fighter and paramedic worried sick. Nurses are doting over them.. and about 2hours in to the ordeal my oldest daughter says " Mommy, me and rosie ate lollipops this morning for breakfeast, but Im hungry."

" the red ones sweety, big heart ones?"
    "ah hua"

We were all relived to find shes just made herself sick with lollipop.. most expensive lollipop she will ever have...

In any case i missed my appointment with the spine guy.
my hair is increadibly soft now... Next time ill have to remember to rinse...

And the ER doc is aloso a magician and gave us a delightful show :O)
Firefighters gave them both cutest teddy bears

    Children.. HA HA HA

Apparently the soonest i can get reschedualed is the 11th. Hopefully there wont be any emergencies!
    Ha ha ha Whatta day!

Oh My....scary! But oh so cute. Thank goodness everything is ok. How old is your daughter?

Reminds me of when my 2nd child was about 2 years old, and he was a very LATE talker, so he couldn't communicate that well. The babysitter got the idea he swallowed a quarter. So my hubby and I rush him to the hospital, and 2 xray shots later, cannot find any quarter in there. I talk to him and ask, when you swallowed the quarter, did it go down in your tummy, or did it come OUT of your mouth? It came OUT of his mouth. LOL

Were you able to reschedule your appointment yet?

She turns 4years old tomorrow. And yes, they were able to work me in on the 11th.
Speaking of birthdays I've got to go put a bicycle together before tomorrow morning.

We went to the doctor. I have more injections comming up. We made a deal, doc will give me 1 chance to tuff out all 3 types of injections in one big blow. Facet injections, Nerve block, and trigger point. I want to be strong. I want more than anything to just do a full day of procedures and not go back for 3mos. It is my goal. My dosage of medacine was also boosted up to 75mg.

They still dont know the cause of my moderate Levoscoliosis. It is progressing very fast ( i went from "possible" Scoliosis ~~>to "Moderate Levoscoliosis" in just 2.5yrs.). He talked to my husband about how well i am doing. How much progress I am making... And then talked with him about making me as comfortable as possible. All they can do is manage the pain as much as possible,There is no cure. No way to make my spine all better again. When i reach 38 degrees we will begin discussing surgery.

**Gosh is this really my life? All seems so strange still.

My husband cried so hard. My heart feels so heavy. I would change it all if I could.
