  • Update on Alex

I just spoke to Terry and Alex's surgery with Dr. Hey is over and went well!

He is in ICU and they are trying to manage his pain. While he is uncomfortable, he is not in excrutiating pain (he rates it at a 3 or 4 and "annoying").

I'm so happy for them that it is over and hopefully he'll have a smooth recovery.

They seem to have gotten very good correction as well. She, of course, did not have a number yet but said from what she could see and on his x-ray, he looked straight.

If I get any more news, I will be sure to post.

Big hugs to Alex and mom, Terri. I'm sure the relief of knowing surgery went well and he was able to be extubated is great. Lots of well wishes for a smooth recovery.
