  • Uneven hips

Sorry for all the questions, this is all just so new to me. Since my daughter's brace was tightened last week her hips are so uneven, from the brace, they were never uneven before. Could this cause permanent damage to the placement of her hips? I guess I just worry because other parts of her spine might shift that shouldn't. She has a very high Thoracic Curve at the T3-T4 Level, so I am confused why the brace is pulling her so much near her hips.

I'm not a Dr. or anything, but I do not think that the brace would cause damage to her hips. Are her hips still uneven when she takes her brace off? I'm curious as well, because I have never noticed this. My left hip was an inch higher than my right to begin with. Next time she visits the Dr. you should ask. Good Luck!

Maybe it's the type of brace? I'm not sure, but my hips are getting straighter from mine (Boston Brace).
      I wish I lived in a perfect world. . .
