  • ? about after surgery

I will ask the dr. about this tomroow, but just wondering what everyone;s experience is...
When your kids came home from surgery, did they require any special medical equipment? Walker or anything like that? Did they have physical therapy afterwards?

No PT, no walker, no brace. I'm guessing the reason they don't send kids home with those things is that they would try to hock them for more pain meds for the early days post-op.

    Just kidding. I hope.

They gave us two fresh bandages for the wound and instructions on wound care (minimal... mainly watching it, not bathing soon after, etc). And of course a script for pain meds and colase MINUS the resident's first name to make filling it more challenging.
