  • Poles help upright walking

I have posted previously about my problems. What's new is my discovery that hiking (aka trekking) poles help me walk SO much better. I had purchased one pole few months ago, and maybe it helped a little. I purchased a second pole last week, and I CAN WALK AGAIN! Almost at a normal pace. These poles are widely available including LL Bean, but I purchased a much better priced model from Lee Valley Tools. They are a hight quality vendor, where I purchase all of my garden tools. You can try this out for yourself with sticks from your yard. Canes and walkers do not put you in a truly upright position.
