  • Jeezum .... my surgery photos ...

The PPT file is ±32 MB, but it you've got the time to download, it's absolutely AMAZING. I'll try to shrink it down later.

Dr. Hanson put this together for me, BTW.

    Wow!

OMG Pam. I'm speechless. That brought lots of tears to my eyes to see what you, my son and everybody else on this board has endured. God bless each and every one of you. You are all heroes in my eyes.

    Big hugs,
    Lori

      It IS Absolutely Amazing!

      Pam,

WOW! Thank you for sharing your surgical slide show! I have said it before, and I am going to say it again. How lucky are we to be able to benefit from the new and improved technology and methodology being practiced by such a talented, committed group of surgeons? As an extra bonus, my surgeon, Dr. Rand, was handsome, caring and a great communicator! You looked terrific, Pam, even in the unflattering light of the OR suite. Looking forward to seeing your next photo installment.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! I had no idea how much you, I or any of us went through. That was absolutely amazing. I cried as I watch your spine straighten out. I am so glad that you shared this miracle with us.
          Thanks again, Pam.

The nurses in the retirement home 50 years from now will get a huge kick out it, I'm sure, when it's located near the back of my knee.

              Danielle,

That's pretty much why I kept stressing to wear your brace as your doctor prescribes. I'd hate for you or anyone to have to go through that (and I did NOT wear mine like I should have ...)

                wow...
That's really cool they took all those pictures.

I asked my surg. onc to take pictures but that surgery got cancelled so I haven't seen any inside view of me yet. I hope I can get pictures if I ever get fused.

as a side note, I'm amused with the power point file cause... i had to learn PowerPoint just because doctors use it so much and I work in a field where we do interact with doctors...heh.

                  Soon, I hope...

Me and my dial-up... I'll have to wait until I'm at my daughter's... or you shrink it some. (But don't feel like you need to for me... I'll get to see it sometime!) It sounds like a wonderful powerpoint though, and I'm looking forward to watching it! Thanks for posting!

Hey Pam, love the PPT presentation. Thanks for sharing it with all. If you want to make a smaller file, maybe a PDF file might work. I love the detail and clarity of the photos, although I did miss the tattoo LOL. It looks from the photos, like you got a real good correction, congratulations.

                          Thanks, Pam

I finally saw the slide show yesterday.
I always thought that I might want pictures of my surgery, but now I think not.

                          thanks.

                            Wow!

I am impressed. Your spine looked a lot like mine, except for my added lumbar curve. I think I missed which doctor you used. Can you let me know? Thank you so much for sharing.

                              Oh!!!

Now I see! It was Dr. Hanson. Are you here in Houston? I consulted him. He seemed very good and very knowledgeable, but dismissed some of my concerns. He also seemed so busy that he didn't have time for me. However, I would definitely think he would do a good job! Are you happy?
