More X-Rays

We heard from the doctor and she wants my daughter to have more x-rays. Does a DEXA series sound familiar to anyone?

I was reading about it on the internet and it appears to be mainly for bone density.

I am not sure if this is something standard or a red flag. If anyone has gone through this please let me know.
