Hip pain

Hi Guys.

Not long ago i did post that i was experiencing leg pain but now its like everything is coming from my hip where they took bone graft from.

I am 5 months post op and my skin in my hip is very tender and sore is that normal?

Also lately i've been getting sharp pains all over my back i was thinking nerves waking??

It all sounds very very similar to what I experienced soon after surgery. My hip that they grafted from was slightly tender for at least a year or two. My family has a habit of smacking eachothers bums and my brother would ALWAYS get me right on my "soft spot" and I'd get so mad!

As for the sharp pains in your back, I had those and figured the same thing, that nerves were either waking up or healing or re attaching, heheh all very non-medical terms I'm sure. It would kind of feel like little pinches or bee stings.

I'm 7 years post op now, and feeling pretty good, so I don't think it's anything to worry TOO much about, but of course if it persists and if the pain is too much to handle, see your specialist to set yourself at ease.

maybe from meds

hey, i'm 3 weeks post op and my skin by my ribs is really sensitive. almost feels like a burn. i was thinking it could be from medication i have heard that is a side effect from some meds. it is painful for even clothes to touch. maybe its from the surgery i dont know. lor
