Hiya guys, just wanted to say that I'm about 1 month post-op now (had titanium rods put in from T8-L1 to mend a 40degree curve on my right-hand side at Leeds General Infirmary) and I just wanted to say how grateful I am to all of you for the advice - it made life a hell of a lot easier!!! Well, my prof says that I am literally totally straight now and even though my scar is in rather an awkward place (starts at my belly button and works along the right-hand side of me all the way upto just under my shoulder blade) but it is healing nicely and hopefully, I can now live a normal, pain-free life.
